There are chapters dealing with each of the six lands in the Magic Kingdom (Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorroland) as well as detailed segments on each of the major attractions (rides and restaurants) within.

About the Author

Matthew C. Gallagher has spent his career in the creative fields and is the head of a boutique design studio specializing in destination design for entertainment and tourism properties.

Matthew has worked in every capacity in the development of creative content; from traditional advertising and brand development to iOS apps and live events, he has worked for clients big and small to bring their story to life for the consumer.

He is the author and publisher of etckt.com, a Disney-specific blog, as well as numerous iOS applications dedicated to Disney travel and Orlando’s destination tourism. Elements of Magic: The Interactive Guidebook for Disney’s Magic Kingdom is his first book and begins a series dedicated to destination tourism and theme parks.

Matthew is also a former cast member of the Walt Disney Company, where he was as an artist developing: interactive content, websites, presentations, televised, and broadcast content for the company. Matthew was part of the team that designed and developed the first-ever event site for the Walt Disney Company to coincide with opening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Born in New York City, Matthew grew up in Central New Jersey and has lived in the Orlando, FL area for over twenty years.
